Scholarship value:

The TUM Global Postdoc Fellowship offers a monthly stipend of €2,670, along with an additional one-time kick-off payment of €430. Researchers residing within the Munich metropolitan area will receive an extra monthly allowance of €350. Additionally, it is possible to apply for family benefits.

Description:

The TUM Global Postdoc Fellowship is a funding opportunity for external postdoctoral researchers currently residing outside Germany who wish to begin their research career at TUM. This fellowship lasts for 24 months, during which time fellows will enhance their research profiles by working closely with TUM scientists. The program encourages fellows to initiate new research projects and collaborate with TUM faculty members, allowing for significant academic and professional development in a world-class research setting.

Eligibility:

• Early-career postdocs and doctoral researchers in their final year are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must be residing outside of Germany at the time of application.
• You must have completed your PhD within the last three years at an institution other than TUM.
• If you are still working on your PhD, you must submit a letter from your supervisor confirming that you will finish within the next 12 months. A PhD certificate will be required to begin the fellowship.
