Scholarship Amount: €300 per month, totaling €1,800.

Overview: These grants aim to assist international students at Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) who face unique challenges during their studies. The program prioritizes support for individuals with specific life situations that may create difficulties in pursuing education. Examples include refugees, students with disabilities or chronic health issues, and those responsible for caring for children or family members needing special attention.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the following conditions to be eligible:

  1. Enrollment Status:

    • Be enrolled as an international student (Bildungsausländer*innen) at UdK Berlin.

    • Maintain enrollment throughout the funding period (summer semester 2025).

  2. Life Challenges:

    • Belong to at least one of the following groups:

      • Refugees.

      • Students with a disability level of 50% or higher or those managing chronic illnesses.

      • Students caring for minor children within their household (single parents are especially encouraged to apply).

      • Students providing care for immediate family members (1st and 2nd-degree relatives).

Important Notes:

  • Dual nationals (foreign students with German citizenship) and exchange students are ineligible for STIBET funding.
