Overview: The DAAD scholarship program “ERA Fellowships – Green Hydrogen” is designed to support students and researchers from both Germany and international institutions. The program offers financial support for Master’s and PhD students, as well as Postdoctoral researchers, who are focusing on any aspect of Green Hydrogen (GH2). The scholarship aims to advance study, research, and internships in Germany and globally.
As part of the fellowship, selected GH2 fellows will work with international teams of experts and DAAD alumni. The collaboration will focus on a variety of critical topics related to Green Hydrogen, such as its production, transportation, and infrastructure, as well as market stimulation and cross-cutting issues. Fellows may also be given opportunities to participate in scientific conferences and other professional events related to their research.
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Master’s students currently enrolled at a university in one of the participating countries.
- PhD students enrolled at a university in a participating country.
- Postdoctoral researchers working in the field of Green Hydrogen from universities or non-university research institutes in the participating countries.
Applicants from all scientific disciplines are welcome to apply, as long as their research or study focus aligns with the theme of Green Hydrogen.
