Scholarship Value:
The scholarship offers financial support of 1,350 euros per month for a period of 36 months. In addition, recipients will receive a lump sum of 100 euros for research-related expenses.
Description:
The Elsa-Neumann-Scholarship is designed to support doctoral researchers at any of the four universities in Berlin. Scholarships are available for two purposes: full scholarships for those preparing a doctoral thesis, typically lasting up to 36 months, and completion scholarships for advanced doctoral researchers, which can last for up to 12 months. This funding is intended to assist students in their doctoral research and contribute to their academic and professional development.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be doctoral researchers who are currently enrolled at one of the four Berlin universities.
- Academic performance must be well above average, which is usually indicated by an excellent final grade in the applicant's university degree(s).
- The doctoral research project should be expected to make a significant contribution to the relevant field of study.
- Applicants must not have previously received any public funding for their doctoral project.
