Description
The International Tuition Award supports full-time international graduate students at the University of British Columbia (UBC) – Vancouver campus who are enrolled in research-based master’s or doctoral programs. This award helps reduce tuition costs and provides financial support for outstanding international researchers.
Eligibility
To qualify for the International Tuition Award, students must:

Be assessed international tuition fees.

Be registered full-time in an eligible research-oriented graduate program.

Not receive external tuition funding (from sources such as home governments, Canadian Commonwealth Scholarships, CIDA, WUSC, DAAD, CONACYT, CONICYT, NSF, etc.) that equals or exceeds the value of the International Tuition Award.

If external funding is less than the International Tuition Award amount, the award will be reduced accordingly.

Not receive a staff tuition waiver, as this makes students ineligible.
