Description
The University-wide Scholarships for International Applicants 2026–2027 at the University of South Australia include three fully funded research scholarships:

Research Training Program International (RTPi) Scholarship

Enterprise Research Scholarship (ERS)

International Research Tuition Scholarship (IRTS)
These scholarships are available to international students undertaking Master’s by Research or PhD programs. They provide full tuition fee coverage and a living allowance of at least $35,200 per year, enabling high-achieving students to focus fully on their research. Each scholarship type offers unique benefits and conditions designed to support outstanding researchers from around the world.
Eligibility

Applicants must:

Be international students.

Demonstrate strong academic performance and research potential.

Meet UniSA’s entry requirements for research degrees.
International Research Tuition Scholarship (IRTS):
Applicants must:

Be commencing international research degree students.

Be high-quality candidates with demonstrated research capability, as assessed by UniSA.

Be supported by a strong supervisory panel (including an end-user adviser when appropriate) and enrolled in a research-rich environment.

Be in receipt of (or awarded) a fully externally funded stipend scholarship, or have external funding providing a living stipend.
