Description

The UNSW International Student Award supports eligible students from lower-income and developing countries who may not otherwise have the opportunity to study at a top-ranked Australian university. This Award is open to new full-time international students with approved citizenships enrolling in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at UNSW.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

a) Be an international student as defined under the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

b) Hold citizenship of a country listed in Attachment A and provide proof of citizenship.

c) Have received an offer of admission to a new undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UNSW.

d) Not be enrolling in programs offered by AGSM, UNSW Online, UNSW Canberra, Study Abroad, or the UNSW Foundation or Transition Program Online.

e) Be enrolling in a degree where tuition fees are payable directly to UNSW.

f) Be enrolling in a coursework degree. For combined coursework/research degrees, the Award applies only to the coursework component.

g) Be a new commencing student in an eligible term. Students who previously completed an undergraduate degree at UNSW and are now starting a postgraduate program are considered new students for this Award.
