Description
Deakin University in Australia offers the STEM Scholarship, providing a 20% tuition fee reduction for international students applying to undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment (SEBE). This scholarship aims to support and empower future innovators in the STEM fields.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:

Be a citizen of Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, or Vietnam.

Be a new international student commencing your course at Deakin by Trimester 3, 2026.

Apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree (including honours) within SEBE.

Meet all course entry requirements, including English language requirements.

Maintain a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 65% each year at Deakin and have at least 8 credit points remaining (only applies to readmitting students).

Be enrolled in an eligible SEBE undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.

Not be commencing a course on the FutureLearn platform.

Meet the specific academic score requirements for your country (e.g., Cambodia: STEM scholarship eligibility equivalent to a 65% WAM).
